For those unaware, Lois Foret is in Room 9B at St Anthony’s Nursing Home located at
6001 Airline Dr
Metairie, LA 70003
(Across from “The Shrine on Airline”, next door to the Winn Dixie.)
Effective 10/4/2021, we are allowed to visit during the “normal” visiting hours. We will be limited to 1 person per visitation.
Visitation hours are:
8:30am-11:30am
1:30pm-4:30pm
5:30pm-7:30pm
Right now, we ask that the evenings be reserved for Cherie and myself (Shawn) unless it’s an urgent/unpreventable situation (I.E. – you are travelling from VERY far to visit)

RULES FOR VISITATION:

You MUST be COVID vaccinated to visit. If they don’t have it on file, please have your vaccination card handy.

As much as she would like to see everyone, please stay home if you are sick/still on the mend OR have been exposed to/are recovering from COVID (per CDC guidelines).

You will be required to wear a mask at all times when visiting and wash/sanitize your hands at the facility’s entrance.

Upon arrival, you will sign in with the reception person at the door. They will check your temperature and have you fill out a form asking about your COVID health status.

While you are in the room, make sure you sign her black calendar book. It should be on the nightstand by her side, with a pen. I often use it to remind her who has visited her and show her how many people love her.

When you visit, please make sure she has her cell phone charged. The charger should be on the bed by the nurse button. This will ensure she can get/make phone calls and Facetime chats.

If she doesn’t have on her hearing aids, ask the nurses where they are and to help make sure they are charged and in, so Aunt Lois can hear you.
