For those not in the know, the Krewe of Excalibur throws custom made decorated shields. Similar to the Zulu Coconut, Muses Shoe, or Nyx Purse, many Krewes have a special throw that their riders throw. To catch one of these throws should be considered a treasure, as you may only catch one, if any. Here are some the shields that I am throwing this year in the parade.
I made a batch of shields to sell to riders that did not have a chance to create their own shields, but want to participate. I sold them for $6 each, or 4 for $20.
