got the DSL up and running here. The speed of it rocks. I will be revamping over the next few days adding some really cool pickle related pics that I found while surfing some sites like picklefest.com and other sites found in a search for pickles on yahoo. Tonite, I talked with Ydnew and she is coming in town in a few weeks. Will be good to see old friends again and go get drunk with her. :)

Saturday evening, Mike called before he came in to releive me at work and I was soooo out of it (from no sleep) that all I could tell him was Trees... Then coincidentaly, While SG was at the house today, he went tout on the back patio to enjoy the beautiful weather. He came back in less than 30 seconds later looking quite pale/confused. He then said a tree fell down in the yard. We didn't beleive him and went to see it for ourself and sure enough, our backyard was in fact a fallen tree. WE are gonna get the tree cut into firewood and we shall stay warm all winter :)

One sick Pickle....

Today I managed to get to school for a test in Entreprenuership (which was easy). Then I went to my next 2 classes. After that, the shitty feeling just overcame mem and I had to go home. From home I called the doc and he sent me some medicine, which my sister filled at the pharmacy and I went and got it. Now I have 2 medicines, so I should get all better. The best part is, one of the medicines comes in a "folder", so it looks kinda like birth control pills :).

Bare watched wrestling.

Over the past few weeks, Bare has been watching wrestling to enjoy mthe fly chicks, like Stephanie MacMahon-Helmsley. Tonite, he made a big slip up and blurted out some of the plot line. :) Soon, we shall haveanother wrestling fan, Hulkomaniacs :) hehehe

The path of the storyline

From what it looks like, the path that the plot from WWF is taking is one that a few wresling sites have seen coming. The person that will get the blame for hitting Stone Cold will be none other than his new wife, Debra. Could be wrong, but everything stated thus far points in that direction.

Well, last night I got the sleep that I needed all so badly. To be exact, I went to bed at 7:30 and didn't wake up till 5:30am. Man that felt like a million bucks.

Feeling sick

Now that I caught up on sleep, I feel sick. Not like puking sick, just feels like a little post nasal drip type thing. Nothing that a little NyQuil won't fix :)

Domain names

Today I r read an interesting aticle about domain names and the copyright fights with them. Also, the new statistic is that more than 2500 names are registered per hour (almost one per second). The article further recommends that people go get their nsmes registered now.. Guess I beat em to the punch with picklescoop.com :) Sucks to be Joe Picklescoop if he wanted his dot com. :)

Last nite, we moved Allison from Mobile. The move was expected to end at approximately 1 am, however, things went awry, and we ended up not getting home till a little after 3. That equals little no sleep for Picklescoop and a very edgy attitude for me.

The usage of 911

911 in a page is something that over time, many have bastardized. The 911 following a number used to mean an emergency such as someone is dying, your house is on fire, or something that needs to be discussed with you immediately is waiting. However, over the years, many people have come to start paging people for no appart reason with 911. For a joke, just so they will call back, even because they are bored. This is why at this point in life, I rarely answer pages that have a 911 behind them. Because, the original emergency meaning now is due i'm bored. For those of you that page me somewhat regularly or even only once in a blue moon, keep this in mind. Your response will be much faster without a 911 rather than with. However, some people do get a slide with the 911, for example, relatives. Use the911 behind a page for veritable things, otherwise, it looks like you are just crying wolf.

I went and bought a few new CDs the other day including: the new Nerf Herder (How to Meet Chicks), Wheatus, and the 2nd Everclear CD (so much for the Afterglow) They all are kick ass CDs.

Today in my Entreprenuership class, the teacher asked who has a webpage. I raised my hand. He then asked me alittle bout my site. Then he asked who has a business. Once again, I raised my hand. He asked me what company. I told him web design. He then had me give a short short speech on web designing. If I grease my wheels right, I may get to do a lecture on web design and that would mean plugs galore. In the wise words of SG, GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today in between clasees, I was chilling in the circle AKA Hopper's Mouth, with a bunch of people and I got my head rubbed by a bunch of girls:) Guys, if you don't think bald guys get all the props from the ladies, just look at Shaft.

What to do when bored at school

Many college students often have time off in between classes, due to cancelled classes or just scheduled breaks. Not always will there be something to do, until now. Go geta copy of your school newspaper (everycollege has a campus newspaper) and read the police reports from there. They are hilarious at UNO. I am pretty sure that is the main reason that a majority of students pick up a coipy of the paper each week. Lights and Sirens. The crime that goes on at UNO is laughable and makes you wonder "Do they actually pay the campus cops to report for stgupid crap like someone smoking a joint (although it is really incense burning)?!?!?" That's just one example of the stupidity. Gotta love that shiznit. :)

Overview of the weekend

All I gotta say is: This weekend ownz joo!! IT all started out with Tom Sevo and Shakespear and Lownotes from Shakespearsworld.com coming in town. We met them at the Lakeside Mall. Once they came to the house and unloaded, we brought them out to IA2000 to get their passes. While there, they went and looked around inside picking up some free Shiat including shirts, keychains, lighters, pens, hats, posters, magazines, movies, DVDs, stress toys, autographs, and many other things. While Shakespear and Tom were running rampant in the show, Bare, Woodhead, Mikey, Lownotes, and myself did a few man on the streets with some porn stars. After going to the convention Friday afternoon, we went home via St. Charles. We decided to do what any man would do, show everyone our boobs. We then stopped to pic up some good ole Dixie Beer, which Tom, Krazzy, and I embibed in. Yam!! Good beer...

Last nite, I went to Woodhead's real house and watched the WWF pay-per-view. 2 words regarding it: kick ass.

Visiting Pawpaw

Today, after school, I went and visited my Paw paw in the hospital. His spirits are up, his stomach is wierd (he actually ate hospital food!!), and we chit chatted complaining about how crappy the Saints did yesterday, the events of the weekend, and several other things. It's always a blast chilling with him.

Sno-Balls

Today at work I had a long forgotten flavor of Sno-Ball, Popeye. For those of you unfamiliar with sno-balls, it's a desert drink that is composed of ice and flavored syrup. The popeye flavor was very much like Bubble Gum, but it was green. I can't wait now for the green poop in a few days :)

Yesterday, Shakes, Lownotes, and Tom Servo came in town for IA2000. We chilled with them all day and even sat in front of the convention while Tom and Shakes checked it out. We got a few man on the street quizzes in, so all in all, goo time there.

Last nite, we had a handful of peoples over. Besides the SW.C crew, we had Pounders, Boogie, Mikey, Woodhead, Pat, Stephanie, Nicole, Cuz, Hey There, and a few of Stephanie and Nicole's friends. Good party and big fun.

Last nite, I attended the ninacam.com party in the quarter with Woodhead. We got several pics of scantily clad cam girls and even did a few Man on the Streets in the honor of Shakespearsworld.com. All in all, It was a great time.

Fixed Washer

A few days ago, I went to wash clothes and I guess my clothes were too much for the washer to handle. IT broke a belt on the washer, so we had to replace a belt. It works now :)

My PC is f**king up again.

When I go to dial, my modem comm port is busy It was cleared yesterday by Drunken Mike, but IT happened again. I guess I will have to backup and start the system from scratch. Sucks to be me.

GonzO

Yesterday, we got a call from the man, the legend, GonzO. He is doing well out in San Fran and I chitChatted with him for quite a while about everything from computers, to being bald (although he knows nothing about baldness, that hippie :)). I can't wait to see him again so I can punch him in the grill or fart in my sleep. :) hehehe

Actually, LAst night at 2am, I went and got food for the next week or two. I got 60 bucks in food!! go me... And of course I had to buy some sausages for the red beans.. :)

Wednesday night is the night:) The big party to celebrate IA2K with Wood, Bare, and Tom Servo. Just think nudity optional :) ahhhhh...

Last night, I went to eat with Bare, Pat, and Allison at Mark Twain Pizza. Good food. Eat some now!! After eating, we went Application gathering for Allison to get a temporary job. She easily has 10 applications to fill out and turn in today.

While at school yetserday, I saw Jarred preparing for the Back 2 Business party thingy. Chatted about warez and stuff with him for a bit quite cool.

Got my car back Thursday. It has no radio, because they are repairing it. But, I DID get it back with a working air conditioner and a working altinator. That was important. The other bad part of the repaired car is that they charged me for a new battery. I have the warranty, which pays for "non wear and tear" stuff. The battery was drained because of the altinator f**k up, and they made me buy a new one. Understandably, If my battery had been drained by me leaving the lights on all night or something, yeah I'll pay, but it drained because the warrantied part messed up. And they charged me like $130 for the battery and installation. Now I wish I would have just paid 20 bucks for a battery at Autozone and then all this headache would not be cooking.

Chilling with Duane and John

Thursday night, I went and hung with the old management staff from the hellacious ex-employment of P.Scoop, Robert's. We had a few drinks and laughed and joked with Tom and Hey There and SCotty and Wood and Pat.

Yesterday sucked. I wike up to go to school to see it raining heavily (I already hate driving in heavy rain), but I went anyways. I got to Transcontinental to find W.Esplanade flooding. So, I turned around and sat it out here watching tv. Once the weather cleared, I went again actually making it. Fast Forward to after school: I went to go visit my mom (not necessarily always the happiest experience) and then to attempt to visit my Grandfather in the hospital. When I arrived, I had just missed him and he went to some treatment that takes several hours, so wasted trip. (shitty thing #1). On my way home fronm the hospital, my car completewly died in traffic and would not crank back up. So, I call Pat and he shows up with Boogie and bare to jumpstart me. I get started and attempt to get to the dealership when it dies again. Boogie and I call Bare and PAt back out and we rejump it. We eventually got about a mile from my house when it died again and would not rejump. WE call AAA and they tow me to the shop. Bad altinator (and they are looking inot everything else that is wrong, radio, AC). Then I stop to get some things at the store and BAM (ATM card denied) somehow a check or something came thru that shouldn't have, so no balance in account. I get home, get my drink on. Then it gets slightly better, but not much. Bah to hell with yesterday.

My old parking card was old and splitting, so they replaced it for me.

Tony's going away party

Tony's going away party was last nite. It was a good time and great to see everyone, however, it was a sad moment to see that one of our brothers, will be going across country. We will miss him out here, but we all wish him the best of luck and success with his promotion.

Skool is not kool

Whty is it that everytime it slightly rains, UNO basically floods, thus making every student have to be like third graders and run thru the puddles? FUNK THAT!!

Last nite, we got a call up from Shakespearsworld.com's radio show. Some of the events that ensued from that included, me talking with my butt, woodhead imitating Pac-man, Bare doing a Billy Dee impression, plus lots lots more that ever expected. It was a lot of fun and I hope that we can keep up the connection with them.

Sleep

When I got home from work, I crashed for like 3 hours. Just needed sleepy. After that, I felt like a million bucks for a good while. However, while I was sleeping, Mike passed by to find out if I wanted to go see "The Replacements" with him and Athena but everyone agreed that I was way too peaceful to wake up.

Last njight we had a handful of people over to hang out. Let's see if I can rememer everyone that showed up. Me, Bare, Krazzy, Party in a Bag, Jessica, Woodhead, PAt, Cuz, Stephanie, Nicole, Boogie, Hey There, Drunken Mike, Slinky, Pounders, and Allison. Let's say that several people puked (me included :)). And Allison, "Ooo you nasty Johnny Bird!!!" Pretty goood and wild evening.

I was woke up from a good sleep today by Drunken Mike this morning becausew shmuch ran out of gas. The funny thing is: IT was right across from a gas station and he didn't think to fill a 2 liter or something with gas a get himself just enough gas to go ACROSS the street to the gas station. Instead, we went and pushed him to the station. All in all, he got his gas... But man this is ribbing material for the next few months.

Homework

Today, My mission is to download my book. Yes you read it correctly, download my book. My book is currently out of print for my accounting class. The bookstore, Chimes, etc is out of stock, so the editors have the first few chaptewrs online. So I have to downlaod them and read them on the computer just to do homework. Sucks to be me...

Most people would think that this would be the only class whose book is out of print. WRONG!! OIbviously, the business dept at UNO gets their jollies from using out of print books. I have 2 classes with out of prints. The other book, however, I was able to order online. But, instead of it costing me 7-8 bucks, I paid 25 bucks for rush delivery, because I thought we would have a book report due in it, but the teacher backed it up, the DAY AFTER I ORDERED MY BOOK!!! DAMN school... Made me pay 3X the price of the book, just to back up due dates.. any way they can to make students piss away money...

Holyman in the House

Tonite, I went and picked up Padre to come see the house for the first time. He was in awe with the new pad and definitely liked it. He also recommended that we put up a camp gateway in the driveway :)

Congrats Tony, but make sure that when you get out there that your admin asst. falls asleep during inspections and drools on his Class A. :) Seriously, Congratualtions Tony, I know you worked hard to get up that next rung, hopefully soon, you will reach your top goal. The best of luck goes with him to L.A.

Weather and the surroundings of it

Yesterday, I was cutting the grass right when a good lil storm wasa brewin'. The breeze came flowing through and basically stopped me in my tracks for like 5 minutes. After I finished, I rushed home and sat in the driveway with Pat enjoying the breeze and light drizzle. Man it felt great, especially after the past few HOT as Pigshit in a stove days. However, my joys were hell for Drunken Mike. He was at work watching the weather reek havoc on his duties at work. Sorry Mike, but Iliked it.. a LOT!!

Coincidence?!?!

Today has been loaded with coinky dinks. I stopped at the e-z serve in bucktown to run into none other than Drunken Mike. I went and had lunch today with G-Rant and Chad. Come to find out, Chad is in my Accounting class. Aftter class, I chatted with an old friend from high school Randy regarding Internet business. Small world, dudes. Small World.

Disgruntled E-Mail

Today I received an email from a long distance online phone company where the e-mail was titled "Picklescoop, call your mother". Since, as everyone knows, my mother passed away a few months ago, this did not impress me at all. I sent a nice little response basically telling the company that I would not use their product if my damned life depended on it. Damn them.. I f my trash wasn't emptied already, I would make sure everyone knew what company it is so they all can avoid them. Damned Bastards!!!

Computer Pimp

Over the past few days, I have fixed 2 peoples computerers (actually it was setting them up) but I got paid like 50 bucks each time. Go me....

Beat Woodhead

Woodhead had thoughts of calling the ex-bitch, but we beat him about the knees, head and back for having those thoughts. We also hit him over the nose with newspaper. :)

Well, as far as I know, everyone survived the wildness of the weekend. The party was great and I want to personally thank EVERYONE that made it to the party, even for 5 seconds. I would also like to thank eveyone that gave us stuff and support with the whole move. Some of the gifts included (but were not limited to): towels, pans, the coffin cooler, food, a blow up sheep (long funny story) and a really really great party. Thanks again

All by myself

on the way to work today, I lost my fricking mind. I was listening to 92.3 when the love song "all by Myself" came on. The only thing I pictured was Kenny on Half-Baked singing the song while in the prison shower. Then at a stop light, I saw a herd of metermaids which made me think of Gene's buddy's site. That was just too much. I just began laughing balistically while sitting at this light. Everyone driving in my viscinity had to think that I was smoking crack or something.

Goodbye PCs

I finally brought my old PC (the Aptiva 166MMX) to Gene. I also finally brought him his Linux box. They actually became part of me, having been with me for so long. I miss them already.
