almost forgot spooky a nanny. aka the trip to foti's haunted house October 25th.. be there or be trapezoidal... there will be much dancing singing and riding the hayride and trainride.. .should be a blast.. see ya there.. Let the busy end of October begin This friday is my trip to Oktoberfest in Pontchotoula with P and whoever else. Of course much drinking dancing and polka will proceed. This weekend is the Couchon at St. Edwards. mmmmm deep fried pig and Bucktown Allstars... :) Well well well Ahh Here I sit at work on Wednesday morning. I have been working a shitload as of late, especially with all the crap over the weekend. Had like a million issues at work over the weekend with the weather and some miscellaneous outages, anyways it was hell, but I survived. The reason why IK am working today? I have moved my schedule from Sundays to Wednesday nites, so that means Saturday nites, the drinking is ON!!! Also had a quite busy day yesterday with my errands of grocery shopping cleaning the house, cutting my dad's grass, and lots of other stuff, as well as school. Oh well, been good days, and school is going well. I enjoyed my midsemester break, even though I only have one midterm exam this week and thats tommorrow the others are still a little ways off. |

WTF?!?! Ok this is quite fucked up and repugnant.. Wild world Well I have been pretty busy with work and school, but I got a congratulatory certificate for doing a good job during disaster recovery, so that's cool. I made some mad choc. chip cookies for my work meeting last week, which everyone enjoyed, almost as much as Bob's awesome lemon squares. I went to the dentist yesterday about a toothache and he told me that it is an absethed (sp?) tooth. He didn;t do anything yet but he gave me some medicine and goodstuff till i go either get it pulled or a root canal next week. Chadd has been staying over for the past few days which has been quite cool tpo have someone to hang with all the time. GHOTI left to go back to the boat unfortunately but he should be home soon. He is supposed to be out only for a week or so till they hire another person. Camllle was over visiting over the weekend, so we all gott o know her better, but she is still a stranger in my book :) (inside joke)...
Dad is still in the hospital from the weekend. For those of you that didin;t know, he had some problems with enzymes in his system that made him feel like shit on Saturday, but he feels fine right now and is essentially just being monitored at the hospital. Other than that, things are going well right now. WE also had a toga party over here last weekend. That was incredible.. Lots of drunken stupor and toga fun. Pictures at 11 :) |

'Special Man' Dead At 82 Lester Love Jr., best known as TV's "Special Man," died Friday of natural causes. He was 82. That is sad.. The guy that I grew up seeing on commecials saying "Let her Have it" died. He was such a cool guy. my sorrows to his family. He will be missed by more than just family and friends, but most of New Orleans.
how to buy a new wardrobe for cheap Go to Goodwill. Buy lots of crazy out of style yet still in style clothes for dirt ass cheapo ( Ibought 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts and a hat for like 15 bucks. GOAL!!! one of the shirts is a Louisiana High School referre shirt. Now I can be the ref of party fouls. W00t!!! Bare gets Drunk... film at eleven Well, The other day, Bare got sloppy sloppy drunk. It was lots of happiness. Bare was like the pope, making offerings of peace to everyone, including Osama himslef (ok well not really, but he sure was happy)... the past few days.... Well let's recap.. I went and saw Duane's band play at Tipitina's again this past Tuesday. His show was good also, Sarah E203's website is pretty cool, it has some mp3s and such to check out.
Also, This weekend is the originally scheduled Anthropology Club party, but it looks like it may be just a drunken stupor. Anyways should be fun and I will prolly take lots of pics and chug lots of beer.
The other day I went and visited Krazy, Snap, Boog, and Dixie Dawg over at Krazy's and Krazy further showed me the powerful planning tool, the world domination planning center (AKA a preskool easel with a chalkboard on one side and dry erase on the other. From my understanding, it is a load of laughs at drunken parties. I sure do miss hanging out and drinking with that hairy bastard... But I got to see him and talk for a few, so it was awesome.
GHOTI is getting settled in and he is even starting to revamp his webpage, so check it out.
I caught wind that Hunter was feeling bad today, so Hunter get better and keep rocking out the Dallas community with some mad BVC hits. He also told me that his band was supposed to start recording in a studio, so congrats, ya'll. You earned it.
Other upcoming events for October include The Kottonmouth Kings concert on the 30th, Oktoberfest at both Deutchese Haus and in Pontchotoula, the Couchon de Lait at St. Edward, and Tony's mad party on the Sunday before Halloween at Rock and Bock. Costume party $5 at the door with no costume. lots of drink specials and musioc and most likely, wild sexually suggestive behavior. Hope to see you there. |

keep rollin rollin rollin rollin Well let's recap the3 events of the past few days. My dad went and had 2 stints put in to clear arterial obstructions. I took the day off to be close if they needed a family member for info. He is doing good, so no worries. GHOTI is finally home and living in the house. He went and bought a HUGE TV that is cooler than shit. So, the "Haven Smut Palace" is literally in effect (if you are lost by this call the house and listen to the machine). I had 2 tests this week, one I got a C on (Micro Economics) and the other (Accounting) I'm not sure about yet, since the professor didn't release the grades. I have been keeping up with homework and keeping up with the regular upkeep of the house and I washed my truck yesterday while GHOTI washed his. I tried fixing the mirror where I knocked it off pulling out of the driveway a few months ago, but the epoxyish glue didn't hold so i may have to get some screws and screw the thing back on. ON the strange side of news, Last nite me P and Stirfry had this mudmask stuff on. it felt wierd as hell but my skin is silky smooth now :) well off to listen to the rest of the Saints game (they are losing bad now (14-0)) and do some more Homework. Enjoy the beautiful day. |

Right now at NOMA is the Scottish exhibit and its free to students of UNO and multiple other colleges so if you have time, you should go.. You can thank me later.... In the past few days, I had Chadd chill at my house and we played some Serious Sam and I lost pathetically... Oh well, it was fun. Well, off to do more with my day... Sites for Pounders to enjoy As some of yopu may know, as of late, I have been riding to school with Pounders on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. He plays the old school "punchbuggy" game, where you punch your fellow passenger for every VW bug and we also play with PT cruisers. So, Pounders this is for you. Enjoy, Pounders and everyone. The latest breaking news in Pickleland I have been kepeing busy still with my studies and also with work as well as the daily grind. I have actually done ALL of my accounting homework to this point along with studies for all of my classes. Go me.... Work has been busy, as they are doing all kinds of crazy changes and EVERYONE is calling all weekend to do that stuff. But still not TOO bad. Daily grind, I have been keeping up with chores around the house along with little errands and other miscellaneous jobs and quests. I have seen beaucoup people over the course of the week and everyone seemed to be doing ok, except thay gurl, who said she was not feeling good last night. So, Thay gurl, stop feeling like crap.. Till my next update remember:
"No gnus, is good gnus. Gary Gnu here, good nite.." why we were down yetserday Yes I know we went down yesterday for like a million hours. I was actaully getting impressed with Canaca until then. Supposedly the backup crashed, crashed the primary drive on the server and a bunch of excuses. Anyways they got us back up without losing information for once. Atleast I didn;t, but I have been on my sporatic hiati (would that be the plural of hiatus?).... |

Wow Well what a day it has been. For those of you that live in a cave, I'm tlaking about the terrorist situation which completely demolished the Twin Towers in New York as well as the Pentagon. My condolencenes to the families that may have lost loved ones with the situation. IT is amazing how something that seems so far away hits close to home. I was worried with the risk of terrorists hitting ANYWHERE. Many buildings, not only in the, due to lack of better words, "actual attack sites", but all the way across the nation her ein not only New Orleans, but in Los Angeles, and other cities nation and worldwide. I hope the people responsible for the loss of life and destruction get the punishment that is coming to them. |

Hangout day at my house this past Saturday After my dinner, I had a few familiar faces show up to hang out including Swan, Meghan, Kaitlyn, P, Michelle, Stirfry, Dave, Duane, Minta, and a few others. It was good to hangout with everyone.... Interesting weekend Well, I worked all weekend while the Disaster Recovery testing was happening, which is essentially when they setup a temporary system up in Shreveport and Little Rock for the emergency of a hurricane. It was a pain in the ass, but I survived.. |

Jesus, slow down!!! Thanks to Gonzo for this one.. Wacky shit to buy at E-Bay Wacky Donkey Butt Ciggarette Dispenser Busy beautiful day Well I tried typing this once, but I fucked up somewhere and it didn't post.. so I will be short. Today started off looking beautiful and turned to a rainy New Orleans day. I went to school and ran a few errands, including having lunch with Bare (OK it was Danny & Clydes, but it was good)..
last night I downloaded Morpheus and got a few MP3z and some videos. Got all 3 Gorillaz videos to date. They rock. Get them now if you don't have 'em. It's cartoons to cool music.
Anyways, still have some stuff to do, but hopefully I will get to hang with Boogie tonite (since I haven't seen him alot lately with school and work and all). But, life has been overall pretty good and hopefully it is treating all of ya'll the same. Until my next post, I will leave you with some wise words from Snap: Love thyself, respect thyself, Touch thyself. Krazy's link of the Day Krazy sent me this link.. check it out.. Needless to say, it is well...interesting ;) keeping organized? The other day when I went to go get my books for school, I got a day planner. I have been using it and trying to keep organized. Hell maybe one of these days I will be on time for something... ;) Funny from E-mail I got this back in the day, and I just recently got it again from Mr. Groome. It's a little long but hilarious.
The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington Chemistry mid-term. The answer was so profound that the professor shared it with colleagues, and eventually it got on the e-mail circuit.
"Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?" Most of the students wrote proofs in their beliefs using Boyle's Law, which states that gas cools off when it expands and heats up when it is compressed, or some variant. One student, however, wrote this:
"First we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate that souls are entering into hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets into hell, it never leaves. Therefore, no souls are leaving.
As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religious interpretations of hell that exist today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion you will be sent to Hell. Since there is more than one religion that states this and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that ALL souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell. In order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, Boyle's law states that the volume of Hell has to expand as souls are added. This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls are entering, then the temperature and pressure will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. Of course, if Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Ms. Teresa Banyan during my freshman year, '...that it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account that the fact that I still have not succeeded in having any sexual relations with her, then, #2 cannot be true, Hell has not frozen over.
Thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and will not freeze."
This student received the only "A" given on the exam.

been a busy day Well let's recap... I woke up and did the mardi gras parade schedule page for 2002. Then I went to school where it took me a lifetime to find parking. Essentially, parking was so bad, that I had to park out by Elysian Fields by the Sachauf site. I bought books for school ($240 worth, aww yeah).. Then I went and had lunch with G-rant at the chinese restaurant by Ferrara's. good food. I also saw Robert Linn and Praline there. After I brought Grant back to school, I came to the house and cleaned up. I also went with Sweetpea to K-MArt and printed all of my notes for class off of Blackboard. Pounders cut the grass at my house, my Dad's and his house. Thanks P. I talked with a few people online and other odds and ends. |

A little funny email from Christie It is a list of all those crazy church billboard with quotes from god. it reads..
Here's a list of all variations of the "God Speaks" billboards. The
billboards are a simple black background with white text. No fine print or
sponsoring organization is included.
Let's meet at my house Sunday before the game.
-God Well Hope everyone survived their Labor Day I survived but of course I was working ;).. Anyways, tonite Dave, Tony, Kris and Pounders came over and we all hung out. Even watched the mack daddy cheesy poof movie, Gummo. The weather as of late has been starting to get on my nerves. Yeah we need the rain and all, but damn it teased to appear like a beautiful blue sky kinda day, but come 3 in the afternoon, it was raining AGAIN. School kept me busy today, but it wasn't half bad. After school, me and Sweetpea went and had Golden Corral, which left me stuffed like a fat pig. But damn was it good.. |
