Well Summer is Over...

Well here I sit a week into school fimally gettinga free minute to update... Let's recap some of the events that have taken place...
Well I am in some wacky classes ranging from Accounting to Caribbean Cultures (don't ask me why, just because :))

Last weekend, my Check Engine light came on in the jimmy and I had the oil changed and the light went off (damn I'm a shitty car owner..)

I super cleaned the house this week after my interview for a recent opening at work in the FSE (Field Service Engineer) division.. I didn;t get the job, but damn is my house clean... It's all good, that I didn't get though. Yeah it sucks, but hey there will be other opportunities to advance...

I reinstalled a majority of my computer (all that's left is Office and a few other nooks and crannies type programs).. Running a billion times better.. I reformatted because some shit went down and I could no longer share files and several other networking issues were happening, problem solved ;)

Pounders and I cut my grass and my Dad's grass yesterday (he cut his already by the time I got there. Hell, It's not like there is a whole lot TO cut ;))

I talked to GHOTI and he said he should finally be in town around the 12th of September, so that will be intersting to have the new roommate in the house.

Today I hungout with Boogie for a bit for the first time in like 60 million years (or so it feels) and we went to the DMV to finally turn in my old liscence plate from the Skylark. IT was great to catch up on times with him.

Today in Hopper's Mouth, I saw Robin of the shrine (trust me those who know will get it) and was informed she is intersted in converting to be Jewish, guess we will add her to the list of Jews in the Hanakkah song now :) Also, Pounders brought back the beautification program (sidewalk chalk) and let Snap loose. He made this concrete design on the ground into the Wheel from wheel of Fortune with some intersting prizes including Herpes, a Yacht, 976snap.com suckah, tits, a BJ from a complete stranger while you sleep, and a dimebag and a 40. We in turn cheered to everyone that walked on the different wheel sections. We also drank some brews and as usual, I wore the beer box on my head, so the Pope of Party made an appearance at school. Also, Homeskilet was there, so that was wierd to see Homeskillet and Not Boog or Sanch, but still cool. All in all the circle was intereting today..

I made some kick ass Jambalaya today as well. Used some Popeyes Chicken, Cajun Sausage and Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix along with my few extras...It was incredible. For the recipe, email me...

In sum, I have gotten alot accomplished this week and plan to continue to do so... Also, I forgot to mention that Last weekend, Krazy and Snap made an appearance to say hello at the Haven... It was good to see that hairy Dago nutjob.. Hopefully I will get to see him more often again. ;)

Anyways had a lot of muggy, yet slightly beautiful days and had some incredible days, but overall The weke has been a good one. I hope everyone else has had a rocking week. Until I get a chance to update again, which hopefully will be daily, I leave you with a favorite quote from BHG: (ahem) Rock on,Brothers. Rock On...

Thanks to Chadd and Mike for that last note

Hey Mike I have had much better luck if I get the sheep drunk first ;) hahaha Anyways, P.Scoop here again with the daily update. Today I went to school where my accounting techer knew my name on the first day. Mainly because she taught me Accounting a few semesters ago when I failed it, but still ain't a good sign. Beyond that my first day of school wasn't half bad... Grant on the other hand had a strange time pulling cars out of this stell eating mughole on the back parking lot. He even got stuck eventually, but all is good and bright now. WE went to Tico as usual and I decided I will continue to learn strange quotes in Spanish. So all my readers, if you have a crazy quote, email it to me and I will poost it with a little noite maybe we can create the learn Picklescoop Spanish on a daily basis... :) Also, as many of you know I have had Sweetpea staying over at the place for the past few days. This has been incredible being able to catch up on times with him since I rarely see him.. Hopper left today. GHOTI comes in in like 2 weeks. Bare is out of town for the week on a trip with Lilwood. Hope they are hgaving fun. Sweetpea left today to go visit his Grandpa in Baton Rouge, so I have the house to myself for the next 2 days. Sweetpea also went and changed the oil in the P.Scoop mobile along with washed it. Woowoo sweetpea!! I reinstalled my sytem over the weekend, but I still have a few more programs to load back on. Last nite, I went to Walkers with Chef and we fixed Walker and Matt's computers and then played this racing game (I think it was grand tourismo)... Then on the way home Dave and I stopped and got groceries. All in all, life has been pretty wild over the past few days. But I think things will start to slow down over the next few days...

I hate sheep!

They are just gay. Not a single one has accepted my offer for a date all week, I'm more then a little mad. I even broke another keyboard over it. ARGH!

Let's recap... Went and handled up on all my school stuff (2 day affair) and cayught up with a bunch of people in town including Sweetpea, Hopper, and several others... Also, yesterday Pounders, Sweetpea, and I helped my Aunt Lois move into her new pad. so all in all, we got lots of shiznit done. woowoo!!!

Funny but True

Thanks to MR. Groome for this little funny yet true engineering fact...

Ever wonder where those engineering specifications come from? The US standard railroad gauge (distance between the rails) is 4 feet, 8.5 inches, an exceedingly odd number. Why was that gauge used? Because that's the way they built them in England, and English emigres built the US railroads. Why did the English build them like that? Because the first rail lines were built by the people who built the pre railroad tramways, and that is the gauge they used. Why did they use that gauge then? Because the people who built the tramways used the same jigs and tools that they used for building wagons, which used the same wheel spacing. Okay! Why did the wagons have that particular odd wheel spacing? Well, if they tried to use any other spacing, the wagon wheels would break on the old, long distance roads in England, because that's the spacing of the wheel ruts. So, who built those old rutted roads? Imperial Rome built the first long distance roads in Europe (and England) for their legions. The roads have been used ever since. And the ruts in the roads? Roman war chariots formed the initial ruts, which everyone else had to match for fear of destroying their wagon wheels. Since the chariots were made for (or by) Imperial Rome, they all had the same wheel spacing. The United States standard railroad gauge of 4 feet, 8.5 inches is derived from the specification for an Imperial Roman war chariot. Specifications & bureaucracies live forever. The Imperial Roman war chariots were made just wide enough to accommodate the back ends of two war-horses. Cut to the present... The Space Shuttle, sitting on its launch pad, has two booster rockets attached to the sides of the main fuel tank. These are solid rocket boosters, or SRBs. Thiokol makes the SRBs at its factory in Utah. The engineers who designed the SRBs wanted to make them a bit fatter, but the SRBs had to be shipped by train from the factory to the launch site. The railroad line from the factory happens to run through a tunnel in the mountains. The SRBs had to fit through that tunnel, which is slightly wider than the railroad track, and the railroad track is about as wide as two horses' behinds. So.... a major design feature of what is arguably the world's most advanced transportation system was determined two thousand years ago by a horse's ass.
Which is pretty much how most government decisions are made.

back to the usual grind

Well I have been back since Friday nite... I have obviously been busy with work and catching up with everyone again. That is the worst part about going away. Having to catch up on missed times. IT is always good to heard the good things that happen, it just sucks when oyu aren't there to share those moments... Anyways, last night a had a few people over (Hopper, Sweetpea, Pounders, Rodney, and Kris) for a bit. We hung out talking and then watched "Requiem for a Dream". Damn you Hopper. Scarring me for life with that movie. If you have a weak stomach, watch Teletubbies. If you have a buffed stomach, you can watch the movie, but I'm warning you... It is much more scarring than Gummo could ever be.

Anyways, this week seems to be scheduling itself to be a busy one. LEt's see, I have to go register for school, among multiple other things (cleaning up, washing clothes, and hanging with Hopper and crew).... Hope everyone else is having a beautiful day....

Visit to Atlanta

Well today Sternum and I headed for the MARTA and rode that into Atlanta. We hung out at the Underground Mall, the World of Coke (CocaCola museum place) and also CNN tower, home of CNN, TBS, TNT, TCM, and Cartoon Network. We gota few things there and walked a little of the city. Got harrassed by a few bums but easily pushed em away (with my mad New Orleans skill :)) Anyways...
Then best of all, the epitamy (sp?) of all of the trip.... THE SEARCH FOR STERNUM'S NEW CAR!!! We went to a dealership near the Mall of Georgia (which is like the biggest mall in SE US) and he got a 1998 Toyota FourRunner. It is fully loaded with CD, tape, sun roof, cruise, the works... I really like his new car and am happy for him. WAY to go big Sternum, but it looks like you have to update your Bio now.. :) Well, It is midnight, has been a busy day, and we haven't eaten yet. Plus we have a long ride ahea dof us so, I guess see ya'll on the flip side back in Central Time.. :)
Muchos del Amore or some crap like that...
P.Scoop

Plans for today

Today we are going to go take the MARTA (don't have a clue what it stands for but it is the subway system here, and go down to Atlanta. (We are actually in a suburb called Duluth.) We will probably hit the Coke museum maybe the CNN place, the Underground, and a few other places.

Plenty of pictures and details to follow.....

Events of Yesterday

Well, for start6ers, we went to visit Sternum's cousin at the University of Georgia in Athens. So, we went out there and saw the town and did a little shopping and ate this huge ass burrito wrap type thingy called a skinny (as opposed to the larger fatty). I got a road sign poster at a poster place. woowoo... Fun lil place. Best of all, at the house where Brianne (Sternum's cousin) was staying one of the guys had a dog that they called Pickle. So there was actually 2 pickles in the same place.. Last night, after we watched some South PArk and SNL, we headed out to Waffle House and we found out that the Waffle House corporate headquarters is right up the street from where we are staying. We called and asked if they have a tour or anything and unfortunately no.... Oh well, can't say we didn't try.

well we made it to Atlanta

We left last night really ass late (after work) and then we arrived here around 11:30-noon. We went and saw MS. Sue's work which is a nursery that has like 7 playgrounds, a pool, and best of all, a 4 layer deck. That rocks. I must try to build one at the Haven.. :)

Anyways, also I got a message from Bare that my father called and the tool bag that I got into an accident with in January is trying to sue me. What a fool. Like I have money worth taking. I work for a living jackass. Quit trying to get rich quick off of Morris Bart type shit. Die Cabbie, Die. I just have a feeling that from my Dad's reaction I am being scapegoated and being treated like everything is my fault. It was an accident. THUS the name. I hate getting fucking guilt trips for crap that is unavoidable. Just really pisses me off...... Well, I'm out.

Funny Joke from Belinda

The Spanish Conquistadors were making a map of their colonies (they owned all of America, South and North). They started drawing in the lines from down south -- territory they knew well -- and worked their way up. Everything was going fine until they got north of the Great Lakes. "Hey, what's up there," the map maker asked the governor? The governor answered: "Here? (in Spanish: "Aca?"). Nothing (in Spanish: "Nada"). Hence the great blank emptiness became known as ACA-NADA, or in English, "There ain't nothin' there." Which, as anyone who has lived in Canada will testify, is pretty darned close to the truth. Eh?

R.I.P. Mr. Doughboy

I got this in an email today from Christie. Read it and enjoy!

It is with the saddest heart that I pass on the following. Please join me in remembering a great icon. The Pillsbury Dough boy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was only 71. Dough boy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours, as long-time friend Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy, describing Dough boy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Dough boy rose quickly in show business but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he even still, as a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for millions. Toward the end it was thought that he would rise again, but alas, he was no tart. Dough boy is survived by his wife, Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about twenty minutes.

woowoo I'm a Dixie Expert!!!

I got an email today asking about info on Dixie Beer. And I was able to answer it with ease. :) The email reads:

hey My name is Amelie Wilson and I'm writing an article about New Olreans beer. I was hoping you might be able to provide me with a list of all of the names of Dixie beer for my story, if it's not too much trouble.
Thanks a lot-

Well it has been a busy past few days

Let's start with the list of stuff from yesterday...
I woke up and Rodney and Snap came over and we chilled out just talking and all... The nPounders came over as did GHOTI. We cleaned the backyard up (jomaxed the bricks and just cleaned up things here and there. Then we resigned the lease for the Haven for another 6 months but with the thrid roommate as GHOTI. So the roommate situation now is Bare, GHOTI, and me. Then Tony and Blake came by and we brought GHOTI back to his boat. When we got back, eventually Tony and I went to Madeline's up the street and swam with a bunch of the OG crew. That was fun as hell.. I was quite wasted. :)

This morning I wioke up and Walker came over. Then Bo Peep passed by for a few. Then Walker and I went and visited Bare at work and got rent money. I went and deposited it in the bank and here I sit. Tonite, I am supposed to go see Duaq's band, Sarah E 203 play at Tip's uptown. If you can make it, I reccommend.. The show starts at 10. Then I am meeting up with Pounders and we are going to wish Blake a happy 21st at Harrah's where he will proceed to gamble a bit and get wasted. Happy B-Day Blake!! Yeah Drinkin!!!!

Blowin' in the Wind

Well New Orleans may be blowin in the wind if this storm out in the gulf builds up strength. Hope it doesn't because I don't feel like being up shit's creek for a few weeks while order can be restored. Hurricane, go the hell away...

Weightlifting to standup

That's right folks, that sleeping cockroach guy Seeeettthhh (noted as a Den member and also a former co-worker of mine at CompUSA)... Seeeth will be doing drunken standup comedy Tuesday, August 7th at the TRUE BREW CAFE. Not sure where it is, but I understand they server beer and it is only $3 cover. If you are off work and all on that night, go out and give the sneaky sleeper some support (God knows he prolly won't last at his current job too long just because he's Seth)... :)

Shakespearsworld at the Haven

Well everyone, a part of the SW family is staying at the Haven for the weekend as they are attending Crecent City Con (a sci-fi convention). Last night, we watched the best of Backyard Wrestling 1&2. Let's just say kids that young shouldn;t be recording themselves beating each other to a pulp with flaming tables, flourescent lightbulbs, and miscellaneous heavy metal objects.. Quite interesting to watch still nonetheless....
Anyways back to the story... SG Shakes, Tubbybitch, and Bacon are crashing at the house for the weekend. They got to sdee me go nuts cleaning the house too. They were quite amused. I will post word of any other details that occur over the weekend as they happen. Rumor even has it that there may be a SW radio show at the house tonite.. Stay tuned for more...

Welcome back to the posting world Woodhead

After what seems like a 3 decade hiatus (actually since Mothers Day), Woodhead has posted on his page again. woohoo Woodhead!!!

Death to Dentist

Today I got some nads and decided to go to the dentist (whom I am deathly afraid of) to get a cavity handled. Well, I chose a dentist oout of the phone book and they set up an emergency appointment (because I was in moucho pain) for noon. I arrived filled out the forms, which asked me if I was afraid of the dentist and numberous other things like if I drink and floss and stuff. Anyways fast forward to in the chair....
The dentist gives me 2 shots and tells me if I feel anything wave my hand. In the middle I start to feel it slightly and I wave. He gives me a third shot and comes back to the tooth. He starts drilling it like an oil rig in the gulf till he hits the jackpot: my nerve. I begin flailing my hand like a spastic 5 year old during roll call crying every vulgarity with a forced open mouth. He tells me to put my hand down and starts drilling harder. All I know is his shots sucked ass, I have some temporary filling crap, and he gave me some Percodan. The percodan wouldn't be a bad thing if he actuaklly gave me a really quantity. But no, he gave me 8. for at least 10 days. And I have used 2 already and it is only been 12 hours. Then to add insult to injury (no pun intended) the pharmacist and my sister (who works at the pharmacy) both say, "damn why did you go to the roughest toughest dentist on the planet..." Damn why couldn;tt they twell me these things 3 hours earlier?!?! Die old man dentist, die.... Slow and painfully for all of the hell that you put me thru in this one day alone.

Warped Tour pics up

to check out Warped Tour in N.O. go here

site of the day

powhitetrash.com... It is kinda like E-bay only trashy.. :) I'm gonna go but my china there... ok maybe I won;t because I am thinking of starting a China creations company with Chadd's wife. The pickle china and ferret china will soon be a feared sales product to Tupperware and other dishmakers... :)

Busy past few days......

Well let's recap... Tuesday was the concert event of the Decade... WARPED F'in TOUR 2001!! IT was hot as hell but awesome. I am so happy I got to see the Gimme Gimmes live.. They rocked out with Sloop John B, Rocketman, Favorite Things, Somewhere over the Rainbow, Nobody Does it Better, and a few others... Rancid rocked out along with the Vandals, Less than Jake, 311, Sum 41, H20, and a bunch of other bands.. If you are out there and Warped didn't come to your area yet, drop your shit and go!! Thank me Later ;)

Anyways, at Warped Tour I saw all kinds of people including Lil Bitch, Jonathon, Chris, and Ethan. It was good to rock other with fellow rock and punk fans. After, the show, Hunter, Walker, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Sternum, and I all went to Walker's apartment and swam. (We had Steve, his woman Theresa, Stretch, Rhombus, and Rhombus's woman with us at the show but they had to go their seperate ways). Anyways, after we swam we all got dressed and Hunter, Walker and I brought Kaitlyn and Meghan back to the Westbank and got lost on Kaitlyn's neighborhood for like 10 minutes :)
Once we got unlost, we all headed down to the quarter for a bit. Had a few brews and made the ritual stop to Danny & Clydes. crashed at Steve's.... Next morning, Hunter and I went and visited his Mo Mo and Paw Paw for a while. Then headed to Mandina's for lunch. I got Spaghetti and Meatballs and he got Turtle Soup and Shrimp Remoulade and a bloody mary. went out to the quarter again and had a few happy hour brews and watched some drunk guy sing karaoke at Razoo's. Then he left to go to a business meeting. Woohoo!! We then headed back to Metairie, where I stopped to visit my Dad. We gave me two shirts and a Heiniken beer lamp. Passed by the house where Boogie and Pounders were starting an Axis & Allies game. Hunter and I then went to the Bay for a beer and we had free wings and fries and got 2 free packs of cigs each. Not bad for the cost of 2 beers... Anyways, went and passed by Nicky's club and told her hello. Then we went by Uncle LArry's but nothing too interesting was going on (and my tooth was hurtinga little). Went to bed and woke up at 6:00 to bring Hunter to the train station. Got back home and Cricket was here. Chilled and caught up on times with him and here we are.
Been busy having fun and hanging out with everyone as well as enjoying the beautiful days that we have had.

Congrats to Wendy & Trey

Well, I finally received word from Wendy regarding the baby... The letter reads as follows:

hey wassssssupppppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!well we had a baby girl...Katelyn Victoria Rosch..........she was born july 16 @ 11:35 pm...6lbs 14 oz...19 1/2 inches long ...man it hurt really bad. didn't have any drugs and boy let me tell you it hurts like hell...but she is beautiful here s a picture of her i'll send you some more soon.Wendy

touching e-mail

I got this one from a buddy of mine Cricket in an e-mail:

My name is Billy Evans. I am a very sick little boy. My mother is typing this for me, because I can't. She is crying. The reason she is so sad is because I'm so sick. I was born without a body. It doesn't hurt, except when I try to breathe. The doctors gave me an artificial body. It is a burlap bag filled with leaves. The doctors said that was the best they could do on account of us having no money or insurance. I would like to have a body transplant, but we need more money. Mommy doesn't work because she said nobody hires crying people. I said, "Don't cry, Mommy," and she hugged my burlap bag. Mommy always gives me hugs, even though she's allergic to burlap and it makes her sneeze and chafes her real bad.

I hope you will help me. You can help me if you forward this email to everyone you know. Forward it to people you don't know, too. Dr. Johansen said that for every person you forward this email to, Bill Gates will team up with AOL and send a nickel to NASA. With that funding, NASA will collect prayers from school children all over America and have the astronauts take them up into space so that the angels can hear them better.

Then they will come back to earth and go to the Pope, and he will take up a collection in church and send all the money to the doctors. The doctors could help me get better then. Maybe one day I will be able to play baseball. Right now I can only be third base.

Every time you forward this letter, the astronauts can take more prayers to the angels and my dream will be closer to coming true. Please help me. Mommy is so sad, and I want a body. I don't want my leaves to rot before I turn 10. If you don't forward this email, that's okay.

Mommy says you're a mean and heartless nasty person who doesn't care about a poor little boy with only a head. She says that if you don't stew in the raw pit of your own guilt-ridden stomach, she hopes you die a long slow horrible death and then burn forever in hell.

What kind of cruel person are you that you can't take five minutes to forward this to all your friends so that they can feel guilt and shame about ignoring a poor, bodiless nine-year-old boy? Please help me. I try to be happy, but it's hard.

I wish I had a kitty. I wish I could hold a kitty. I wish I could hold a kitty that wouldn't chew on me and try to bury its poo in the leaves of my burlap body. I wish that very much.

Thank You,

Billy "Smiley" Evans

Status of the new web server

Yes we are still on Canaca's space. The most recent outage was due to a broken switch or something at their headquarters. But the new server was up and running in testing for about a month strait and then it got hacked or something went wrong. Anyways, mwe are fixing that as you read this. Hopefully we will be up and running safely on the new server within a few weeks.

WEll I'm still alive and kicking.... Camp this past week was pretty good except for the fact that I lost my wallet, so I have to go get all new cards (lisence, insurance, library, etc) But not too big of a deal, since I am going around all this week recollecting my possessions.
Also, the Haven may very well still be in effect, as the owners seem interested in continuing to rent to us. More info to come regarding this...

sorry for the forum outage now...

not sure what is wrong with that but i have my master forum guy, Deo looking into the forum first thing in the morning... Hopefully he will be able to fix it. Fingers crossed....

FYI

a few picture directories were deleted to make space for the site.. Just so you know if you get a 404 or something that is why. sorry for the inconvenience.. Also, The latest word on the move: the sites will be moving soon. The server is still in testing and configuring phase, but all will be good...

welcome back P.SCoop

well for those of you wondering, I am back home for the week. Sorry for the extended outage on my newz page, that was my fault and its a really long story as to why it was down. IT actually wasn't Canaca's fault. wow!!! Anyhow, over the weekend we had an incredible party to celebrate me and GHOTI's birthdays... (yes mine was Friday)... Need less to say everyone there was quite inebriated (which included a buttload of staff and friends of ours)... Hunter is in town right now too...
Some other things that happened in the stretch of down time, Krazy moved out of the Haven (sucks, but it happened, but no hard feelings or anything)...
AS I mentioned before, I am working camp again, and loving every second of it..
Preparing for the Fourth... partying, and enjoying my summer. Hope everyone else is enjoying theirs too.. Until next time, rock on!!

Hey Hunter...

You ought to bring Dixie Doggie down with you when you come :) She would love to run in my yard... :)

here at camp...

I am up here at camp for week numbero three.... We had a staff meeting tonite where not much was really covered... Still, been a beautiful day ;) I even competed in a Belly Flop contest today. That was quite cool. I love being out here as always, especially because, as corny as this sounds, I know that the kids love it. Well, I'm heading out now for sleep, mainly because I arrived in camp at four forty something ante meridium :) and got only a little sleep because during the day, my quarters get FHOT (fuckin hot) and it makes it hard to get a good sleep in that condition.. :) more adventures to come....

Latest on the Haven

This is a touchy subject round the house right now... The latest word is: Krazy is moving out next week, and I don;t think they want to sell the house to me. So, P.Scoop is unsure where he is going once the lease runs out in August. Guess I'll get a place on my own or move back home. Not sure yet... Oh well, life sucks, wear a helmet.

Picklescoop: asst. Quartermaster

Well, over the past 2 weeks, I have been out at SSR, AKA camp. The first week I assisted the staff while serving as an asst. Scoutmaster for my troop. Then last week, I served on staff as the assistant Quartermaster (helped anywhere they needed me in camp actually). It has been incredible thus far and I promise I will attempt to update a little more while out there. I have so many stories from camp just up to this point that I will save them up and make a camp journal of some sort once everything is done.

The return of P.Scoop

Well, I'm back and in one piece surprisingly. It has been an interesting wwek. For those of you that didn't know, I went up to camp to serve as an asst. Scoutmaster for my troop. I helped out the troop as much as possible and also helped the Staff throughout the week. During the week, there were two "tribes" set up that essentially competed against each other. Yesterday, I was on the Yonva scoutmaster Olympiad team where I did the dizzy bat, a feed the string through the team (long story), a eating relay race (where I got the Pringles), and an egg toss. My team didn;t win overall, but it was fun. I also got to be in the campfire. AS per usual, I led the staff in song before it started. I have beaucoup pictures from camp which i hopefully will put up later on today. Also, I am going back up next week to help out again. Just being there and knowing that I was making a difference in all of the camper's lives made me happy. Plus I got to wear a sombrero the entire week, thus the name "guy with the crazy hat".... Goal :)

in Other News

Went to Dad's graduation yesterday. It was long but pretty good. The guest speaker was none other than Famous Amos. Yeah, the cookie guy.... His speech consisted of the reading of several childrens books revolving around things to live by (some things are better than they appear and vice versa). After that I went to Aunt Debbie's for na family gettogether to celebrate Dad's graduation. Congrats Dad!!

I was originally planning to attend GHOTI's graduation this coming weekend, however several things have come up (mainly the bottom of my pocket) and I will not be able to attend. I wish I could be up there to celebrate the event with the Drunken Sailor and Hopper and gang, but c'est la vie. I will have to wait to see them when they get home. Anyways, Congrats you dirty old sailor. You survived.

GHOTI you know naval engineering...

Dude we may need you to build a huge ass arc if this rain crap doesn't stop... :)

Let's recap some of the events of the past few days..

Way to go pops... Snap and Lil wood graduated high school, as did Homeskillet. and I know a bunch of the OG crew graduated college this semester. Good job everyone and goodluck out in the big world...
Last night, I had Chef, Michelle, Raul, Angelle, Walker and Pounders over and we chilled under the back patio for a bit then went and hung in my room. Incredible nite....

Congrats to all of the new sparking relationships going around here at the Haven. not sure if those people are ready to announce their stati but you know who you are ;) Go ahead!!!

This morning I brought Krazy and Julie to the airport for their flight to San Fran to visit GonZo and Heatherlady. Drink a beer for me out there in Silicon Valley :)

Yesterday after work, I actually went out on a dispatch to repair a branch with Travis. That was awesome. Look out Gene, here comes PSG (Picklescoop Guarantees fixing or something... :))

For those of you that don't know, right now New Orleans is gettinga large quantity of rain dumped on it. I am boutt o pirogue my way over to Pounders' house to help him straighten up a bit. (no I'm not REALLY pirogueing over but I prolly should with all the rain. :) Anyways, I'm out for now... Every one have a beautiful day, especially Pounders LOL :)

OK I'm back

I am back from Dallas in one piece and I hope the site is back up solid for the next week... Sorry for the consistent outages with the page. That has been the usual suspect... Canada!! Damn if any of SG's posters live up in Toronto, go knock of these damned people. Or go straighten their asses out. But on the positive note, the web server will be up and completely active this week. That's right fols, the ever so famous move that has been discussed for the past 3 or so months is finally gonna happen. Then no more constant downtime...
